Grounded in practice, focused on better service delivery
VCITC builds on years of experience with ITSM and TOPdesk at both commercial and non-profit organisations, in healthcare, central government, retail and real estate, among others. These environments share a common need: service delivery you can account for, insight into performance, and administration that is easy to hand over.
We help organisations align processes and the TOPdesk configuration with that need. We pay particular attention to careful documentation, clear reporting and knowledge retention. That way, teams keep a firm grip on their day-to-day work and can make informed decisions about improvements.
That work also led us to develop AureaDesk: a hosted dashboard that brings together data from TOPdesk and provides insight into workload, trends and areas for improvement.
How we work
Extra work only after approval
TOPdesk Managed Services comes at a fixed monthly amount. If your hours are about to run out, we tell you before they do, and we only carry out work beyond your hours once you have agreed to it. For project work you get an hour estimate up front, and without your approval we do not charge extra hours.
Handover free of charge
When the management ends and the invoices have been paid, we hand over free of charge in the final month of the term: the documentation of the configuration as recorded in your environment, a list of all integrations and accounts, and a handover meeting of at most two hours with whoever takes over. Our administrator accounts are personal and named, so your own logging shows who did what.
Saying no is part of it
We are not affiliated with TOPdesk. If a module is not the right solution, or a licence upgrade is not needed, we say so. The same goes for our own involvement: if you consistently stay under your hours on Managed, we will raise it ourselves and suggest a smaller size or a lighter package at renewal.
